Our Mission

To establish an organized amateur football and cheerleading program with ultimate objectives of social, physical, mental, and moral development of children ages 5 to 12 years. A program of friendly competition with the goal of educating players about sportsmanship, teamwork, fellowship, courtesy, discipline, and integrity. We strive to provide opportunities for all participants to develop individual skills and abilities while being a contributing member of a team. We are committed to provide a way for our athletes to build lasting friendships, great memories and have a positive and fun life experience.

About Us

Sinton Youth Football League was founded and established in 1973 under the name, Sinton Pee
Wee football. The organization is currently in its 48 th season. It has changed names several
times and is presently known as Sinton Youth Football League. Sinton Youth Football League enrollment averages 160-175 participants per season. The league consists of four divisions based on age. Freshmen, 5 year-olds; 6 year-olds; Sophomore, 7 year-olds; 8 year-olds; Junior, 9- year-olds; 10-year-olds and Senior, 11 year-olds; 12-year-olds. No 7th grade students are allowed participation in this league. In 2020, SYFL received 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation status. The corporation is an independent entity governed by its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors decide which football/cheerleading leagues to affiliate with annually. The corporation and its Board of Directors shall seek to inspire all participants equally with no regard to sex, race, creed, physical ability or national origin. The corporation shall not be conducted to or operated for profit and no proceeds shall be used for the personal benefit of any individual.
